Corps recouvert d’un tégument mou. Carapace 1,3 fois plus longue que haute. Rostre court, ne dépassant pas le niveau du tubercule du pédoncule oculaire, 1,25 fois plus long que haut au niveau du fond de l’orbite, avec des bords supérieur et inférieur formant, dans sa partie distale, un angle d’environ 70° au sommet émoussé; son bord supérieur armé d’une seule dent située juste en avant du niveau du fond de l’orbite. Pas d’épine hépatique, seule une très petite épine branchiostégale, implantée sur le bord antérieur de la carapace et se prolongeant vers l’arrière par une assez courte carène, s’observe. ): une carène postrostrale, entaillée par les sillons cervical et postcervical s’étend presque jusqu’au bord postérieur de la carapace; une carène longitudinale part de l’apex du lobe antennaire et parcourt toute la carapace avec une sinuosité très faible jusqu’au bord postérieur de la carapace qu’elle atteint vers son milieu; elle est entaillée d’une part par le sillon cervical qui, très net, se prolonge vers le bas et rejoint la carène hépatique, d’autre part par le sillon postcervical qui, également très net, se prolonge vers le bas et se recourbe dans la région hépatique; une carène branchiocardiaque, qui prolonge la carène hépatique, se bifurque dans sa partie antérieure; la branche haute rejoint la longue carène longitudinale, tandis que la basse s’étend parallèlement à cette carène longitudinale. Enfin un sillon borde la carène hépatique, s’étendant vers l’avant jusqu’au lobe antennaire avec une bifurcation menant à l’épine branchiostège; ce sillon s’étend également obliquement vers l’arrière en direction du bord inférieur de la carapace.

Cornée modérément colorée, en très mauvais état chez tous les spécimens récoltés, vraisemblablement un peu plus large que le pédoncule et presque aussi longue que le bord interne ce dernier.</paragraph>

Stylocérite à bord inférieur légèrement convexe et à bord supérieur d’abord fortement convexe sur un peu moins de sa moitié et formant un lobule allongé puis faiblement convexe et rejoignant le bord inférieur pour former une longue pointe dont l’extrémité se situe aux 2/3 du premier segment du pédoncule antennulaire. Scaphocérite trois fois plus long que large à sa base, à apex arrondi, présentant une épine sur son bord externe située aux 4/5 de sa longueur; largeur du scaphocérite au niveau de l’épine externe égale à 0,6 fois celle de sa base.</paragraph>

Abdomen ayant ses deux premiers segments présentant une section transversale arrondie, sans aucune trace de carène dorsale; segments suivants carénés sur toute la partie de leur bord dorsal jamais recouvert par le segment précédent, soit les deux tiers postérieurs environ, à l’exception du sixième, caréné sur presque toute sa longueur. Cinq premiers segments à bord postérieur sans incision dorsale médiane (une faible esquisse parfois sur le troisième) et à pleuron ayant un contour plus ou moins arrondi et sans dent; sixième segment dépourvu de toute dent, à bord inférieur droit sur la plus grande partie de sa longueur.
