ETYMOLOGY. — This species is named in honor of Sennen Randrianasolo, a retired field botanist who worked at the

(CNARP) in Antananarivo, and who participated in an intensive collecting program conducted in collaboration with the
<collectingRegion id="3639C880FFA7071BFE0D11792C53461E" box="[500,586,1107,1131]" country="United States of America" name="Missouri" pageId="16" pageNumber="215">Missouri</collectingRegion>
Botanical Garden, first for the
<collectingCountry id="8CEA46F2FFA7071BFF0311472F3F46F0" box="[250,294,1133,1157]" name="United States of America" pageId="16" pageNumber="215">U.S.</collectingCountry>
National Cancer Institute and then for an International Cooperative Biodiversity Groups project funded by the

National Institutes of Health. Sennen made more than 1000 high quality collections from many parts of
