. The meristic data (segment and spine lengths) of the single specimen mounted for LM were all about 1020% larger than those of the

material, but segment to spine length dimensions were the same, including the conspicuously long middorsal spine on segment 8. Morphologically, the recorded specimens were nearly identical with the
<typeStatus id="A15088165014FFDC12BBFC5AFB300FFA" box="[1211,1262,900,926]" pageId="66" pageNumber="67">type</typeStatus>
specimens. The only noted differences were 1) a pair of subdorsal sensory spots on segment 3, reported from the
<typeStatus id="A15088165014FFDC16BDFC14FF2E0F80" box="[189,240,970,996]" pageId="66" pageNumber="67">type</typeStatus>
material, but not visible in the specimens from the present study, and 2) the dorsal tubes on segment 2 that are laterodorsal in the
<typeStatus id="A15088165014FFDC1412FC30FD9B086C" box="[530,581,1006,1032]" pageId="66" pageNumber="67">type</typeStatus>
specimens, but occur in a more subdorsal position in the Californian specimens (
