Dorsum with distinct median furrow, without costa; densely covered with appressed turquoise scales interspersed with yellowish, subrecumbent setae; both scales and setae pointing towards midline. Epistome heart-shaped, somewhat sunken ventrad, anteriorly nude, posteriorly squamose. Antennal scrobes complete, sparsely squamose with lanceolate scales.
