. The first species was described after a single male collected from another locality in Sumatra, and

was described after a single female obtained from Borneo. Thus, the male of this genus was described for the first time. It clearly differs from the other genera of this subfamily via a combination of its sexual abdominal characteristics. At present, a new species of this genus was discovered in South
<collectingCountry id="93A87615FFF1FFD6FE7CDEF8FE3AB21F" box="[385,488,752,778]" name="Thailand" pageId="11" pageNumber="246">Thailand</collectingCountry>
. It is here described on the basis of both male and female specimens. However, its male sexual characteristics appear similar to the above-described male specimen with significant differences. These differences allow us to describe a new subgenus for this Thai species and to propose a new diagnosis for the genus
