. Head white; labial palpus long and slender, upcurved, segment 3 as long as 1 &amp; 2; proboscis well developed; maxillary palpus short, pointed; antenna 2/3 length of forewing. Tegulae prominent, pale buff; thorax whitish. Forewing whitish to pale ochreous; an obscure oblique fuscous median fascia followed by a more or less parallel thinner line; two white wedge-shaped costal strigulae towards apex, separated by orange-brown; pale grey tornal spot; a thin dark fuscous subterminal line; termen yellow. Hindwing base white; a yellow streak to tornus and a pair of ill-defined wavy median fascia lines; two parallel subterminal lines, the inner one almost complete, the outer narrow in middle, but broad on either side; five terminal eye spots, black on termen inwardly dark brown, 12 and 45 almost coalesced, each bearing a silver metallic dot, variously placed; yellow beyond spots and in between on termen.

<paragraph blockId="40.[151,1436,1110,1818]" pageId="40" pageNumber="41">Female genitalia (Fig. 174): Ostium wide, antrum at first wide then constricted and reduced by wrinkly sclerotisation; ductus bursae gradually widening into corpus bursae without perceptible junction. Corpus bursae long and membranous with a pair of sclerotised ridges, narrow posteriorly but broadening towards anterior end.</paragraph>
