Body broad, mostly covered with dense yellow pruinosity. Vertex 0.200.23 (male), 0.3 (female) of head width; thoracic hairs yellow mixed with several black hairs; scutellum with 56 pairs of marginal setae; abdomen broadly reddish yellow in ground color, with black hairs dorsally except yellowish hairs laterally and ventrally; legs broadly reddish yellow.

Head black in ground color, reddish on parafacial obliquely from upper anterior margin to lower eye margin and gena, fronto-orbital plate brown to black, frontal vitta reddish brown to black, genal dilation reddish brown, lower face pale yellowish; fronto-orbital plate, parafacial, face, gena and genal dilation covered with grayish white pruinosity, occiput with pale yellow or yellowish white hairs and 23 short black hairs behind postocular setae, covered with yellowish white pruinosity; antenna brown-black, basal 1/8 of 1st flagellomere, base 1/6 of pedicel and base 1/8 of scape reddish brown; palpus reddish yellow. Vertex 0.200.23 of head width; frontal vitta 1.61.8 times as wide as fronto-orbital plate at middle; parafacial 0.80.9 times as wide as 1st flagellomere at middle height; face weakly concave, lower margin slightly protruded forward, extending beyond base of vibrissa by 0.71.0 times of pedicel; gena 0.320.34 of eye height. Inner vertical seta long, 0.730.75 times of eye height; ocellar seta fine, 0.450.50 times as long as inner vertical seta and several fine black hairs on ocellar triangle; 2 postocellar setae, 0.550.60 times as long as inner vertical seta; 2 post vertical setae, 0.330.35 times as long as inner vertical seta; 910 long frontal setae, lowest seta nearly level with middle of pedicel; fronto-orbital plate with only several fine black hairs among the row of frontal setae; vibrissa inserted slightly above level of lower margin of face; facial ridge with 23 setae and several fine short hairs at most on its lower 1/5; 45 rather long subvibrissal setae. Antenna falling short of lower margin of face by about 1.4 times of pedicel length; pedicel bearing black hairs and a long seta, the latter 1.31.5 times as long as pedicel; 1st flagellomere 2.22.3 times as long pedicel; arista with micro-pubescence, 3rd aristomere thickened on basal 2/7.

<paragraph id="8B8336FEE863585F8694FC86FC406B40" blockId="7.[151,1437,151,2018]" pageId="7" pageNumber="464">Thorax reddish brown to dark brown in ground color, with dense golden yellow pruinosity; dorsum with 4 narrow longitudinal vittae, outer vittae about 2 times as wide as inner vittae and about 0.4 times as wide as pruinose portion between inner and outer vittae; pleura with thin pale yellowish white or grayish white pruinosity. Thoracic hairs yellow mixed with several black hairs, fine short and suberect; anatergite bare; 2 presutural and 3 postsutural acrostichal setae; 3 presutural and 3 postsutural dorsocentral setae; scutellum hairs black, several yellow hairs along margin, with 56 pairs of marginal setae and 2 pairs of rather fine long discal setae, the latter about as long as scutellum, 23 pairs of lateral setae present, basal, lateral and subapical setae subequal in length each other and 1.61.8 times as long as scutellum, apical seta shorter than basal and subapical setae and about 1.3 times as long as scutellum, sometimes 1 rather fine long hair inserted before basal seta.</paragraph>
<paragraph id="8B8336FEE863585F8694FBFDFB426BFA" blockId="7.[151,1437,151,2018]" pageId="7" pageNumber="464">Wing hyaline, weakly tinged with pale yellow on basal and anterior margins; basicosta reddish yellow; lower calypter yellowish white on middle and pale yellow on margin. Costa between subcosta and vein R1 about 0.5 times as long as that between R1 and R2+3; bend of vein M nearly right angled, vein M from dm-cu crossvein to its bend 1.92.0 times as long as distance between the bend and wing margin extending along vein M.</paragraph>
<paragraph id="8B8336FEE863585F8694FB63FB506AD2" blockId="7.[151,1437,151,2018]" pageId="7" pageNumber="464">Legs broadly reddish yellow, base of fore coxa, entire mid and hind coxae brown, base of femora, tarsi and claws black, pulvilli pale yellowish brown. Leg hairs black, except yellow hairs on posteroventral portion of femora; fore tibia with 4 fine anterodorsal and 2 strong and long posterior setae; mid tibia with 2 anterodorsal, 3 posterodorsal and 1 ventral setae; hind tibia with 23 strong submedian anterodorsal setae, if 3 setae present then upper seta fine, 24 posterodorsal setae, if 4 setae present then upper and the 3rd setae fine, and 24 strong anteroventral setae, if 4 setae present then upper 2 setae fine, and with 2 preapical dorsal setae.</paragraph>
<paragraph id="8B8336FEE863585F8694FA48FCC5698A" blockId="7.[151,1437,151,2018]" pageId="7" pageNumber="464">Abdomen broad ovate, broadly reddish yellow in ground color, brown to black on middle of tergites, entirely covered with dense yellow pruinosity, irregular spots appearing with direction of light on dorsum of syntergite 1+2 to 5th tergite. Hairs on dorsum black except yellowish on lateral and ventral tergites, fine and long; syntergite 1+2 excaved half way to posterior margin, with 2 strong median marginal setae; 3rd tergite with 2 strong median discal and a row of 12 marginal setae; 4th tergite with 2 strong median discal and a row of 1214 strong marginal setae; 5th tergite with a row of median discal and marginal setae.</paragraph>
