Body broad, covered with dense golden yellow pruinosity. Vertex 0.210.23 (male), 0.3 (female) of head width; gena 0.340.36 of eye height in both sexes; all thoracic hairs black in male, yellowish hairs on pleura in female; abdomen black in ground color, hairs on dorsum black in male, yellowish on lateral and ventral parts of tergites in female; legs black in both sexes.

Head black in ground color, parafacial and gena reddish, fronto-orbital plate brown to black, frontal vitta reddish brown to black, genal dilation reddish brown, lower face pale yellowish; fronto-orbital plate, parafacial, face, gena and genal dilation covered with grayish yellow pruinosity, occiput with pale yellow or yellowish white hairs and 23 short black hairs behind postocular seta, covered with yellowish white pruinosity; antenna brown to dark brown, basal 1/8 of 1st flagellomere reddish brown; palpus reddish yellow. Vertex 0.210.23 of head width; frontal vitta 1.72.0 times as wide as fronto-orbital plate at middle; parafacial 0.80.9 times as wide as 1st flagellomere at middle height; face weakly concave, lower margin strongly protruded forward, extending beyond base of vibrissa; gena 0.340.36 of eye height. Inner vertical seta long, 0.730.75 of eye height; outer vertical seta hair-like or indistinguishable from postocular setae; ocellar seta fine, 0.450.50 times as long as inner vertical seta and with several fine black hairs on ocellar triangle; 2 postocellar setae, 0.430.45 times as long as inner vertical seta; 2 post vertical setae, 0.350.40 times as long as inner vertical seta; 8 long frontal setae, lowest seta nearly level with basal of pedicel; fronto-orbital plate with only several fine black hairs among row of frontal setae; vibrissa inserted above level of lower margin of face; facial ridge with 23 setae and several fine short hairs at most on lower 1/5; 45 rather long subvibrissal setae. Antenna falling short of lower margin of face by about 1.4 times of pedicel length; pedicel bearing black hairs and a long seta, the latter 0.91.0 times as long as pedicel; 1st flagellomere 1.71.9 times as long pedicel; arista with micro-pubescence, 3rd aristomere thickened on basal 2/7.

<paragraph id="8B8336FEE861585D8694FE45FF276DF8" blockId="5.[151,1437,151,2015]" pageId="5" pageNumber="462">Thorax black in ground color, with dense golden yellow pruinosity; dorsum with 4 narrow longitudinal vittae, outer vittae about twice as wide as inner vittae and about 0.25 times as wide as pruinose portion between inner and outer vittae; pleura with dense pale yellowish white or grayish white pruinosity. All thoracic hairs black, fine short and suberect; anatergite bare; 2 presutural and 3 postsutural acrostichal setae; 3 presutural and 3 postsutural dorsocentral setae, scutellum with 4 pairs of marginal setae and 1 pair of rather fine long discal setae, the latter about as long as scutellum, basal, lateral and subapical setae subequal in length and 1.61.7 times as long as scutellum, apical seta about 1.4 times as long as scutellum, sometimes 1 rather fine long hair inserted before basal seta.</paragraph>
<paragraph id="8B8336FEE861585D8694FD65FA7B6C95" blockId="5.[151,1437,151,2015]" pageId="5" pageNumber="462">Wing hyaline, evenly and weakly tinged with pale yellow on basal and anterior margins; basicosta reddish brown to black; lower calypter pale yellowish on middle and yellowish on margin. Costa between subcosta and vein R1 about 0.4 times as long as that between R1 and R2+3; bend of vein M nearly right angled, vein M from dm-cu crossvein to its bend 2.02.1 times as long as distance between the bend and wing margin extending along vein M.</paragraph>
<paragraph id="8B8336FEE861585D8694FC09FD686B20" blockId="5.[151,1437,151,2015]" pageId="5" pageNumber="462">Legs black, pulvilli yellowish brown; legs hairs black; fore tibia with 4 fine anterodorsal and 2 strong posterior setae; mid tibia with 2 anterodorsal, 2 posterodorsal and 1 ventral setae; hind tibia with 24 strong submedian anterodorsal setae among them, if 4 setae present then upper and the 3rd setae fine, 24 posterodorsal setae, if 4 setae present then upper and the 3rd setae fine, and 24 strong anteroventral setae, if 4 setae present then upper 2 setae fine, and with 2 preapical dorsal setae.</paragraph>
<paragraph id="8B8336FEE861585D8694FBDBFA936BFD" blockId="5.[151,1437,151,2015]" pageId="5" pageNumber="462">Abdomen broad ovate, black in ground color, entirely covered with dense golden yellow pruinosity, irregular spots appearing with direction of light on dorsum of syntergite 1+2 to 5th tergite. Hairs on dorsum black, fine long and suberect; syntergite 1+2 excavated half way to posterior margin, with 2 strong median marginal and 12 lateral marginal setae; 3rd tergite with 2 strong median discal and a row of 8 marginal setae; 4th tergite with 2 strong median discal and a row of 12 strong marginal setae; 5th tergite with a row of median discal and marginal setae.</paragraph>

Differing from male as follows: Fronto-orbital plate, parafacial, face, gena and genal dilation covered with golden yellow pruinosity; palpus reddish yellow; vertex about 0.3 of head width; frontal vitta about as wide as fronto-orbital plate at middle; 3 strong reclinate orbital setae, middle one rather strong and about 0.85 times as long as inner vertical seta; 7 rather strong frontal setae; ocellar seta black, hair-like, several black long hairs on ocellar triangle; hairs on pleura yellowish; mid tibia with 2 anterodorsal, 3 posterodorsal and 1 ventral setae; claws and pulvilli shorter than 5th tarsomere; hairs on lateral and ventral portion of abdomen tergites yellowish.
