. Colour of live specimens unknown (only rather old slides have been seen), but probably quite pale apart from the dark eye spots. Cuticle with fine primary granulation. Ocelli 8+8, G and H slightly smaller. PAO narrow elliptical, not constricted, about 2.02.5 as long as ocellus diameter and 0.91.2 as long as U

Proximal field with 3 chaetae, basomedian with 4. Ventral side of a head usually with 4+4 postlabial chaetae. Ant.1 with 2 basal microsensilla (bms, dorsal and ventral), and 2 ventral sensilla (s).
