Valves are linear, with a slightly swollen center and broadly rounded apices. The axial area is linear and about one-third the breadth of the valve. The central area is rounded and somewhat asymmetrical. Raphe is filamentous and straight. Proximal raphe ends are weakly expanded, deflected to one side, and closely spaced. Terminal raphe fissures are deflected to the primary valve side. The terminal raphe fissures are sickle-shaped. Striae are slightly parallel or weakly radiate throughout most of the valve.
