. Frons very finely, densely punctate, interspersed with coarser punctures; with wide, oblique whitish pubescent band on each side, from clypeus to base of antennal tubercles, partially obscuring integument; remaining surface with light yellowish-brown pubescence, lighter toward central area, especially near clypeus. Area between antennal tubercles with whitish pubescence not obscuring integument, slightly yellowish laterally. Central fovea between upper eye lobes deep, distinctly inserted below crest of area between antennal tubercles projected backward centrally. Vertex finely punctate close to eyes, very finely, sparsely punctate on remaining surface between eyes, smooth toward prothoracic margin; with pale yellow pubescence between upper eye lobes (longer and denser close to eyes), shorter, light yellowish brown on remaining surface, except nearly glabrous posterocentral area, and narrow central band between eyes. Area behind upper eye lobes finely punctate close to eye, smooth on remaining surface; superior area with pale yellow pubescence close to eye, more yellowish brown toward prothorax. Inferior area behind upper eye lobes and area behind lower eye lobes with dense, moderately short, pale-yellow pubescent band close to eye, projected backward behind upper eye lobe; with whitish pubescence close to pale yellow band behind inferior side of lower eye lobe; with slightly conspicuous yellowish-white pubescence on central area behind lobes, remaining surface, behind lower eye lobe, glabrous. Genae with whitish pubescence not obscuring integument, slightly yellowish toward superior area, except glabrous narrow distal area. Antennal tubercles with sculpturing as on frons; with whitish pubescence anteriorly and posteriorly, light yellowish brown centrally. Median groove distinct from clypeus to area between antennal tubercles. Postclypeus with whitish pubescence close to frons, not obscuring integument, and pale yellow, denser, close to anteclypeus. Labrum coplanar with anteclypeus, densely micropunctate, with whitish pubescence on posterior half (golden laterally), gradually inclined, nearly smooth and glabrous on anterior half, except golden pubescent fringe at distal margin. Gulamentum smooth, glabrous on wide posterior area, elevated, with short, moderately sparse whitish setae on narrow anterior area. Distance between upper eye lobes 0.35 times length of scape; in frontal view, distance between lower eye lobes 0.62 times length of scape. Antennae (missing antennomeres IVXI in left antenna; missing antennomeres VXI in right antenna) 0.9 times elytral length, slightly surpassing midlength of elytra. Scape with whitish pubescence partially obscuring integument, more yellowish on some areas, brownish close to apex, but not obscuring nearly all moderately coarse punctures. Antennomeres with whitish pubescence not obscuring integument; with a few short, erect, thick, dark se- tae ventrally. Antennal formula (ratio) based on length of antennomere III: scape = 0.85; pedicel = 0.10; IV = 0.81.
