The fragment held in F that is the obligate lectotype is fragmentary and does not have the diagnostic features of this taxon, therefore we designate an epitype here for diagnostic purposes. The epitype specimen was collected approximately 8.5 km south of the original type location, which at the time of our field work was the nearest location to Cheto with primary forest.
