Head broad; eye oval or reniform, prominent, inner margin with distinct canthus; frons slightly convex, without frontal concave; frontal suture present or absent. Pronotum broad, fine punctures; lateral tubercle protruded, broad, generally expanded from apex to the middle, with deep or shallow impression behind tubercle; basal angle with 34 setae. Posterior portion of elytra generally widened, finely and irregularly punctate. Femora robust; tibiae slightly curved or straight, numbers of spurs of pro-, meso- and metatibiae: 1, 2, 2; tarsi generally broad, claw appendiculate, without empodium.</paragraph>

Median lobe flattened, lateral portion and apex sclerotised, dorsocentral portion entirely membranous or with basal one third portion tubular; lateral margins paralleled, or broadest in the middle, narrowed at base and apex, apex triangular or needle-shaped; median struts rod-shaped and widely separated from each other, 1.52.5 times as long as median lobe; tegmen ring-shaped, base Y- or V-shaped, basal one third to two thirds broadest, then gradually narrowed apically, parameres trianglar, lingulate or trapezoid, apical margin with long setae, in some species base of tegmen with a sclerotised piece pointed dorsoposteriorly; internal sac membranous, with two pieces of spiny areas at apex. Spiculum relictum Yshaped, slightly shorter than median lobe, apex protruded outward. Ovipositor short, rectanglar, base broad, apex narrow, divided into two vaginal palpi; each side of ovipositor with one baculus, apex connected with coxite; coxite cylindrical, slightly swollen, apical margin with fine and dense setae; stylus small, apical margin with setae.</paragraph>
