Observed sponge of very characteristic growth, upright on the substrate, with a narrow base and a rounded upper part, surface covered by rounded conules, bristled. Shape of the sponge resembling a broccoli floret. Skeleton irregularly reticulate with very thick spicule tracts; at the surface, echinating spicules present.
