They share the following unique characters: the median lobe of the aedeagus in ventral view with rapidly narrowing, subtriangular apex; the dorsal membranous area circular; the dorsal wall in lateral view strongly convex; the antenna with club composed of small antennomere IX and strongly enlarged antennomeres X and XI; the pronotum and elytra with dense basic vestiture and several long, erect setae.
