Zaitzev & Polevoi (2002) used four key characters to distinguish them: 1) Apical process of the gonostylus slightly bolder and with more developed unsclerotized area around base of this process; 2) Dentations on the inner surface of gonostylus being restricted to distal part, not reaching the curve basally; 3) Apical part of tergite IX less sclerotized; 4) Details of aedeagus as figured by them.
