Moderately broad, bluntly ovoid, anterior pole truncated, posterior pole subpointed, compressed dorso­ventrally (Figs 844, 845 &amp; 847).

: Egg faintly marked on all surfaces by convex, hexagonal cells with moderately broad elevated walls (Figs 844, 845, 847 &amp; 848); except cells on middle of top of wide side concave, rounded (Fig. 848). Aeropyles very inconspicuous, unelevated, openings small, distributed around rim of egg only. Micropylar cell walls overlaid by a narrow shallow reticulum (Fig. 846). Chorion generally smooth, with shallow undulations, each cell generally with six large pits at junctions (Fig. 849).
