: Soft chorion. Egg distinctly marked on all surfaces by hexagonal, concave cells with moderately broad, elevated walls, walls of cells defined by aeropyles, double­ridged (Figs 596, 597, 599602), micropylar cells overlain by a fine reticulum (Figs 597 &amp; 598). Aeropyles elevated, prominently domed, openings small (Figs 597, 598 &amp; 602), present on all surfaces apart from wider, lateral side (Fig. 599). Rosette cells recessed (Fig. 598). Chorion deeply pitted (Figs 601603).
