Moderately broad, bluntly ovoid, anterior pole markedly truncated, much wider than posterior, polar profile sub­circular, dorso­ventrally flattened (Figs 464467, 469470).

: Egg marked all over by hexagonal cells with concave floors (Figs 465, 467, 469471), cells only faintly discernible on posterior half of egg (Figs 465, 469, 470 &amp; 472). Moderately wide, elevated cell walls only reticulated on anterior half of egg. Reticulated cell walls double­ridged (Figs 473 &amp; 474). Aeropyles moderately elevated, domed, openings moderately large present in area adjacent to anterior pole (Fig. 474). Chorion deeply ridged, folded on anterior half of egg (Fig. 473 &amp; 474), smoother on posterior half (Fig. 472).
