Frontal margins transverse. Rostrum 0.3 times the carapace length, compressed, slightly upturned, dorsally carinated, and not overreaching the cornea. Supraocular spines short, not reaching midlength of rostrum, and more slender than rostrum. Anterolateral spine large, reaching sinus between the rostral and the supraocular spines.
