Adults of this rarely collected species were found in seepage areas, under stones on a stream margin, an alder thicket, and forest litter (

). In New Brunswick, adults were collected from under small rocks, in gravel, or in litter and moss along the margins of cold, shaded, spring-fed brooks in hardwood forests. Adults were collected during June and July.
