With 450 genera and almost 4000 species this is the largest

family. Members of this family exhibit a wide range of different biologies, as evidenced by the four species discussed here from

. The first species is flower-living, whereas the second is leaf-living. The third is a member of a large series of taxa that are fungus feeders, although this particular species is probably associated with a lichen. The fourth species is a member of a group that are presumed to be predatory on other small arthropods.
