ones. Given the consistent and considerable differences in the length of the pedicel in the male flowers, I feel justified in describing a new species for the

and

plant. Forman suggested that the plants on
<collectingCountry id="22FF764C270FFFD3FB57B16D0D32FA06" box="[1197,1399,1868,1894]" name="Christmas Island" pageId="6" pageNumber="186">Christmas Island</collectingCountry>
could be escapes from cultivation of imported plants. Given the distance between

and
