Ocelli present; genal area not enlarged; wings relatively narrow, elongate, posterior margin straight distally, membrane hyaline with faint mottled markings; venation dark; costal area relatively narrow along length, crossveins veins simple, lacking interlinking crossveins; single sc-r crossvein basally; RP with 710 branches, crossveins numerous throughout both wings; distal part of radial field sinuous and lacking crossveins; FW RP1 arising distant from origin of RP, close to 1/3 of wing length; outer gradate series distinct, inner gradate series absent; FW vein M forking in distal half of wing and distal to origin of first branch of RP, medial area expanded only slightly; FW CuA with few dichotomous branches, CuP and 1A elongate and pectinately branched; HW CuA elongate, pectinately branched, CuP relatively short, ending before first RP branch origin; trichosors present along entire wing margin in both wings; female forecoxa with ventral spine-like process present but lacking patch of pedicellate setae. Male tergite 9 ventrally broad; gonarcus quadrangular with medial portion broad, setose at posterior angles, lacking anterior arm; posterior portion of entoprocessus subtriangular, widened distally and membranous; mediuncus with a narrow posteroventral extension. Female gonapophysis 9 with anteriorly directed, paired processes with distal half forked and multilobed; sternite 8 concave with a pair of lateral narrow arms; spermathecae spherical, spermathecal ducts short.
