Sporangiophores (65–) 85–220 (–240) × 2.5–5 µm, erect, smooth-walled and hyaline, growing along the stolons and terminally, solitary or usually in whorls of 2–5 (–8), often with a septum below the sporangium. Stolons smooth-walled and hyaline, up to 4–15 µm diam. Rhizoids hyaline, poorly branched, growing in one direction like a broom. Sporangia pyriform to subglobose, smooth-walled, 20–35 µm diam., apophysate, with a bell-shaped apophysis; columellae mostly subglobose, some hemispherical, 10–25 µm diam., smooth-walled with one or occasionally two projections on its central part; collar sometimes present.A solitary projection is usually present on subglobose columellae, 3.5–6.5 × 1.2– 2.5 µm, and a double projection is usually present in hemispherical columellae, up to 5 × 1.5–2 µm. Sporangiospores are regular in size and shape, mostly cylindrical and some slightly cuneiform, 3.5–5 × 1.5–2.5 µm. Chlamydospores are absent. Zygospores were not observed.
