On the night of

, numerous (around 10 or more) males were observed calling for females on top of leaf foliage along the trail. It was raining heavily. Such lekking was not observed on nonraining survey nights along the trail (M. K. Tan, pers. obs.). The collection records also provided some evidences that the species may be seasonal and appears to be most abundant in January and February.
