Generally metallic bluish-black fly. Face slightly produced; oral opening about 1.5 times as long as wide; antenna black; scutum yellow pilose; halter black; legs except pro- and mesotibiae yellow on apical 1/5 and basal 1/3, yellow pilose. Hypandrium acuted laterally towards the apex; apex of hypandrium (superior lobes) no feline claw shape.
