Labrum (®gure 26) with three pairs on strong, blunt sensillae on fore margin, one pair of short, pointed sensillae on transverse carina. Mandible (®gure 27) with ®ve teeth. Maxilla (®gure 28): comb strongly curved with six or seven indistinct teeth, mesal teeth large and rounded. Prementum (®gure 28) with prominent anterior corners, wide mesal process and 10 sensillae. Stemmata present in the specimens at hand. Antenna rather large with numerous small, conical sensillae.

Cuticle: prothorax (®gure 29) scales in the anterior part of segment slightly irregularly transverse-ova l scales apparently without spines,
