CITES Appendix II. Classified as Least Concern on The [UCN Red Last. Little is known of the status of Stephen Nash's Titi in the wild, although it is unlikely to suffer any major impact at the present time due to the remoteness of its geographic distribution. Nevertheless, the small size of its presumed distribution and the lack of protected areas in its range would probably be problematic in the face of eventual impacts in the region.
