Recognized by the medium size, almost unicolorously chestnut brown dorsum, small eye, wide vertex, weakly terete antenna, and form of the genitalia. Based on the similarity of the male endosoma (uniquely with three apical appendages), this new species is assumed to be sister to

Body unicolorously chestnut brown, elongate oval, moderate in size; dorsal surface weakly shining, with simple, semierect setae, long, erect setae, and silvery, reclining setae. Head weakly shining; eye small; vertex wide. Antenna reddish brown, weakly terete; segment I and basal 1/3 of segment II yellowish brown.

Labium dull brown, reaching apex of mesocoxa. Pronotum somewhat shagreened, with uniformly distributed, simple, semierect setae; collar about as thick as base of antennal segment II; pleura dark brown; median part of ostiolar peritreme protruding. Hemelytron shagreened, with densely distributed, silvery, reclining setae and sparsely distributed, long, erect setae; membrane smoky brown. All coxae and legs brown or dark brown, partly tinged with red. Abdomen chestnut brown, weakly shining.
