One individual was observed in flight.

: Very small size and stout structure, typical of pygmyparrots, and no long tail was noted which eliminated Meeks Lorikeet. As it flew, the bird gave a high pitch, buzzy call. Calls from xeno-canto were referenced for identification purposes, and they matched the high buzzy pitch given by the bird.
