In Vietnam, this is a widespread species, known from Lang Son Province in the North to Kien Giang Province in the South. Elsewhere,

has been recorded from Pakistan, India, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia, and Malaysia (Nguyen et al., 2009). This is a new record for Son La Province.
