Morphological variation within

occurs primarily in color and density of setation and punctation on the head and mesosoma. The antennae, legs, T1, and anterior T2 range from black to yellow; the head, mesosoma and remainder of the metasoma vary from black to brown. The setation of the head and dorsal mesosoma varies from white to golden yellow and may be extremely sparse to dense. The density of punctation and setation of the lateral pronotum are similarly variable.
