Sheath thin, firm, sometimes widen, colorless, rarely two trichomes in a single sheath. Trichomes straight, entangled, slightly or not constricted at cross-walls, attenuated at the end, without calyptra. Cells shorter than wide, often isodiametric, 2.1-6.2 μm long, 5.0-6.7 μm wide. Apical cells conical rounded or rounded.</paragraph>
