. Head (Fig. 1) subglobular, with sparse, fine punctures; frons with transverse sulcus between eyes. Rostrum (Fig. 1) arcuate, cylindrical, parallel-sided in dorsal view, 3.53 as long as broad, 0.953 length of pronotum, basal 6/7 with dense, ovate punctures, apical 1/7 shiny, not punctate; scrobes straight, extending from basal 3/8 to base of rostrum. Antennae (Fig. 2) geniculate, inserted at 1/3 from base of rostrum; scape clavate, 3.63 as long as broad; funicle 5-segmented, 0.83 length of scape, segment 1 ovate, 1.33 as long as broad, segment 2 conical, 0.93 as long as broad, segments 3–5 transverse; club ovate, 1.43 as long as broad, 0.833 length of funicle, apex obliquely truncate, tomentose. Eyes lateral, ovate, and convex. Prothorax (Fig. 3) subcylindrical, 1.053 as long as broad, basal 3/5 parallel-sided, apical 2/5 converging arcuately, with strong constriction at apical 1/4; apical margin and basal margin subtruncate; disc with large, round punctures, apical margin with small, shallow, round punctures and 2 tomentose tubercles. Scutellum (Fig. 4) tiny, scutellate, shiny. Elytra oblong-ovate, 1.453 as long as broad, 23 length of pronotum, 1.443 width of pronotum; basal margin concaved arcuately, humeri obsolete, lateral margins convex arcuately, broadest at 1/3 from base; striae broad, with dense, large, ovate punctures becoming smaller apically; intervals much narrower than striae, intervals 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 strongly carinate, with sparse yellowish brown vestisure, other intervals flat and glabrous, intervals 3 and 9, 5 and 7 connate behind respectively. Mesosternum with dense, large, round punctures at middle, both sides smooth and glabrous. Mesepisternum triangular, with large, round punctures anteriorly, smooth and glabrous posteriorly. Mesepimeron irregular quadrilateral, smooth and glabrous, lower edge with large, round punctures posteriorly. Metasternum convex at middle, with sparse, small, round punctures, both sides with dense, large, round punctures, slightly depressed at middle of posterior margin. Legs short, stout; Procoxae contiguous, mesocoxae narrowly separated, metacoxae widely separated; femora clavate, compressed, with large, dense, ovate punctures; tibiae subrectate, sulcate and carinate laterally, apex with inner flange and arcuate uncus; tarsi linear, abbreviated, segments 1–3 tomentose beneath, segment 3 simple, not bilobed, segment 5 shorter than segments 1–3, with 2 claws at apex, claws separated, small, curved. Abdomen with sternites 1–2 connate, convex at middle, other sternites separated; sternites 1, 2, 5 with large, dense, round punctures, sternites 3–4 glabrous, not punctate; sternite 2 longer than sternites 3–4, sternite 5 longer than sternites 3–4.
