Rounded, not emarginate posteriorly, produced and subparallel behind eyes; clypeus truncate, weakly raised basally, strongly depressed apically, with obscure inverted Y-shaped carina, closely punctate laterally, rugosely punctate basally, sparsely punctate and polished apically; antennal prominence with strongly developed U-shaped carina, produced below carina to antennal insertions; frons transversely carinate, rugosely punctate, sagittally carinate below transverse carina, not depressed; vertex rugose; gena rugosely punctate.
