Hydroid colony stolonal; hydrocaulus unbranched; hydranth vasiform, with one whorl of long capitate tentacles and one whorl of tentacles that are composed of two to four parallel, partially-fused capitate tentacles. Gonophores single, on short pedicel, among upper whorl of simple capitate tentacles. Gonophores developing into eumedusoids.
