<emphasis id="B97BEA87FFAFFC66FBF7B573FBEDFD04" bold="true" pageId="17" pageNumber="20">Pronotum as long as wide, widest just before the apices of posterior angles; very convex, abruptly sloping at sides, nearly vertically at base sides from near the base gradually and regularly tapering to apex, converging to the posterior angles before the base, posterior angles long, acuminate slightly converging at the extremities, with an apparent carina directed inside; lateral margins complete and basally visible in a dorsal view; punctuation uniformly distributed, punctures umbilicate with very short, shiny intervals where are irregularly present very fine punctures.</emphasis>
