The material (two specimens) is accompanied by two labels in

handwriting. One states &quot;B. Tasmanicus / Pfr. Van Diemens / isl.&quot;; this is considered the original label as it is entirely written in
<normalizedToken originalValue="Pfeiffers">Pfeiffer's</normalizedToken>
hand and the specimen is considered to be a syntype. The second label reads &quot;B. Tasmanicus Pfr. var. / Isle of Ianna / New Caledonia&quot;; only the taxon name (&quot;Tasmanicus Pfr. var.&quot;) is in
<normalizedToken originalValue="Pfeiffers">Pfeiffer's</normalizedToken>
handwriting and this material is not considered to be a syntype as the locality seems to be erroneous.
