Punctures sub-coarse, dense; coarser, denser on elytra; pronotal disc with impunctate gibbosities; area under pronotal spine punctate; metasternum, legs, antennae, and abdomen very finely, sparsely punctate (mainly on the latter). Setae yellowish, moderately abundant, long; elytra with very sparse setae on base; antennae glabrous.

Antennae surpass elytral apex at base of antennomere X; antennomeres, from V, with projection at inner apex from short and rounded to sub-acute and elongate, distinctly longer towards antennomere X (apex of projection at most reaches basal third of next antennomere); antennal formula (ratio) based on antennomere III (excluding projections of antennomeres V–X): scape = 0.39; pedicel = 0.12; IV = 0.82; V = 0.71; VI = 0.61; VII = 0.49; VIII = 0.36; IX = 0.36; X = 0.33; XI = 0.6; outer side of antennomeres, from distal third of III, carinate; inner side of antennomere XI carinate. Dorsal and ventral outer surface of antennomeres with poriferous system; on III and IV placed only at distal third and small poriferous punctures close to margin; on V and VI placed at base and apex, with poriferous punctures between them; on VII as on VI, but on large areas (pits sub-adjacent); on antennomeres VIII–XI placed along all outer half, with poriferous punctures at apex of inner half (on ventral surface gradually occupying larger areas eventually extending to entire inner half of X–XI).
