. Body shiny, reddish, posterior ¾ of the elytra brown, pygidium yellowish-red, antennae brown with the three basal antennomeres and the eleventh yellowish-red, legs yellowish-red. Second antennomere as long as the first, third shorter than the second, fourth as long as wide, fifth to tenth transverse. Eyes longer than the postocular region in dorsal view. Body devoid of reticulation. Puncturation of head and pronotum dense and very fine. Granulation of the elytra dense and salient, that of the first and second free abdominal tergites very superficial, elongate and forming striae. Aedeagus:
