However, leaf architecture and cuticular characters of these leaves show a possible relationship to Illiciales or Trimerniaceae but differ from all extant members of the Magnoliidae in at least several characters (Upchurch and Dilcher, 1990, p. 33-34). We assign these specimens to the fossil genus
|
|
