Cells are Gram-stain-negative, non-flagellated, non-pigmented, and rod-shaped. Colonies are circular, convex, smooth, and yellow colored after incubation for 2 days on

D-Glucose, D-mannose, D-maltose, potassium gluconate, malic acid, and phenylacetic acid are utilized as sole carbon sources, but not L-arabinose, D-mannitol,
