Body elliptical in outline, 1.00 long, at the broadest point 0.42 wide. Head large (0.17 long and 0.18 wide between compound eyes), clearly distinguishable from thorax. Prothorax in form of a trapezoid plate 4x as wide as long. Abdominal tergites clearly delineated. Abdomen distinctly narrows from 2/3 of its length, with a finger-like apex.

). Antennae with no setae. Circular rhinaria on segment V apically (diameter 0.01–0.02) and at base of terminal process on segment VI (diameter 0.01). Paired ocelli located at the bases of antennae at the level of their anterior margin. Large compound eyes (length 0.08, width 0.03) with large, loosely clustered ommatidia reaching posterior head margin, lying below antennal bases on sides of the head. Large ocular tubercle (triommatidium) placed behind the eyes. Rostrum thick/stout, reaching hind coxa.
