) is characterised by the presence of plastron on the cranial surface (except for the semicircular area on the vertex), on the anterior angles of the pronotum, and on the lateral sides of the elytra. The body is small and broadly oval, and the elytron has nine longitudinal rows of large punctures and small punctures scattered on the interstices. This combination of characters is also shared by
