Bicoloured; head, pronotum, scutellum black shining; elytra entirely red sanguineous only with blackish shadings at apical extremity; antennae black, legs brown; covered with fine, blackish, pubescence. Frons is convex with punctures umbilicate, contiguous. Antennae short, not reaching for about two segments the apices of posterior angles of pronotum; second segment as long as wide, third twice longer than second and twice longer than wide; fourth-tenth serrated, triangular, less twice longer than wide; eleventh longer than penultimate, strongly narrowed at apex. Pronotum 1.2 times wider than long, strongly and regularly convex, at base abruptly declivous without any vestige of median longitudinal furrow; sides arcuate, notably narrowed in the anterior third, feebly sinuate before the posterior angles, the latter unicarinate, with carina directed inside; punctuation uneven; on the central part of disk with deep and simple punctures separated by intervals shorter than their own diameters; at sides denser, umbilicate, rounded with shortest intervals, someone ellipsoidal and contiguous. Scutellum tongue-shaped, feebly convex, punctured. Elytra 2.75 times longer than pronotum; sides subparallel for about two third of the length then gently narrowing toward apex; striae regularly impressed, punctured; interstriae flat with rough surface. Male genitalia typical of the genus, paramere acutely dentate as in
