). Shaped like an inverted triangle, widest at compound eyes, about as high as wide in frontal view. Compound eyes large and bulging, separated by a gap approximately equal to one eye length. Ocelli inconspicuous. Head colour black throughout, except for brown patches under scapes of antennae and on rostrum.
