This species has previously been recorded from Galapagos Islands and

. Measurements of the two females collected in
<collectingCountry id="44D285E8FFE4FFDEFE18FE1FAF24FE46" box="[437,604,458,482]" name="Dominican Republic" pageId="10" pageNumber="47">the Dominican</collectingCountry>
Republic are similar to those given in the original description except for the longer z2 and S4 (18 µm and 31 µm, respectively in the
<typeStatus id="E37E7BDAFFE4FFDEFC9CFE3BAEEDFDA2" box="[817,917,494,518]" pageId="10" pageNumber="47" type="holotype">holotype</typeStatus>
) and the shorter S5 which is 29 µm long in the original description. The measurements of those setae are similar to what was reported by
