During the present study, specimens were collected from the margins with dense floating, emergent, and submerged vegetation in unshaded lentic habitats (Fernández Lagoon, Medina Lagoon and Trin Lagoon), and in standing water of lotic habitats. It was also collected at the margins of a shaded roadside ditch without aquatic vegetation.
