Bei Untersuchungen von Blastobasidae-Spezies aus dem Südtirol wurde man zum ersten Mal auf diese Art aufmerksam. Da die Fundorte relativ nahe an der Schweizer Grenze liegen, wurden nun auch Belege aus dem Graubünden auf diese Art hin nachuntersucht. Es blieb aber nach wie vor bei der ursprünglichen Bestimmung
